About Me

I'm Caleb. I've been in manufacturing for 10+ years. I'm still learning to trade futures, and I built the Plumbline Trading Suite because the tool I wanted didn't exist.

I'm Caleb, based in Birmingham, Alabama. I've been in manufacturing for 10+ years. My hobbies are trading and software development, and this project sits at the intersection of the two.

Day job trains a specific muscle: when something in a plant runs badly, you don't get to tell yourself a story about why it's fine. You measure it, you test it, and the numbers either back you up or they don't. The Plumbline Trading Suite is the same instinct applied to a trade log.

Six years, honestly.

Where I started, where I've been, and where I actually am today — no airbrushing.

I started trading crypto in 2020 like a lot of people did, then rotated into small caps, then large caps, and eventually landed in futures after a coworker introduced me to them. I've been at this for six years.

Honestly, I've been break-even to slightly profitable the whole time — which is better than most retail traders but nowhere near where I want to be. That gap is the whole reason this toolkit exists.

The tool I actually needed.

The Plumbline Trading Suite is what I built to hopefully change that. Each Stage answers a question I kept hitting in my own workflow.

Put my money where my math is.

The journal is where I plan to document my journey using the Plumbline Trading Suite software. Every eval, every prediction, every outcome. Wins and losses.

If Plumbline works, you'll see it in the record. If it doesn't, you'll see that too. That's the whole point — a validation toolkit is only credible if the person who built it is willing to be validated by it in public.
